Hi --

I found this site from the Best Farm Classifieds. I clicked on and thought it looked interesting. We have been chicken hobbists for the last four years. My husband and I have about 20 hens and a rooster. We have: white rock, barred rock, rhode island red, gold star, leg horn, and aracauna. We have had our flock wiped out 3 times by foxes. This flock was attacked by a fox, but all survived. My rooster lost all his tail feathers, but managed to come out ok. My husband got us in to the chicken hobby, I am more a horse enthusiast -- but we now are both devoted to these little friends. The eggs are wonderful and we enjoy having them around. Our miniature aussie pup is getting good at rounding them up when we let them free range for an afternoon. (I think he enjoys it much more than they do!) Thanks for putting up a nice website. I will tell my friends about it.
